MONUMENTS OF THE ARCHITECTURE AS A PART OF THE HISTORICAL-CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE KHARKOV REGION

Abstract

This article considers the historical and cultural resources of the Kharkov region as a basis for the development of cultural-cognitive tourism. The main accent is given to the analysis of architectural monuments, among which are fortificational, religious, social, industrial and residential buildings and monuments of landscape architecture. The distribution of the architectural monuments of local and national importance for each district of the Kharkov region was analyzed. Application of the methods of point scoring system has made it possible to choose five groups of districts according to the level of supply of architectural monuments.
