Abstract

The paper presents the results of an experimental study of the effect of the alkali metal on the photoelectric properties of polycrystalline silicon solar cells. It is shown that the presence of alkali metal atoms at the grain boundaries leads to an increase in radiation resistance of the solar cell caused by the increased density of the impurity states at the grain surface.
