Melting of polycrystalline films of lead and bismuth on amorphous carbon substrates
Keywords:
melting, crystallization, polycrystalline filmsAbstract
The paper represents study results of melting continuous polycrystalline lead films and bismuth deposited on an amorphous carbon substrate. The research yields a conclusion that melting of polycrystalline films of different metals, the crystalline size of which ranges widely, is carried out within a certain temperature range. The average energy of gain boundaries in lead films is estimated according to the data on crystallites size and melting temperature range.
