Software update procedure in Software Defined Radio system

Abstract
In the paper the usage of Software Defined Radio technology in reconfigurable mobile radio systems is discussed. Reconfigurable network management system architecture is presented. Radio software update algorithms of the handheld in such network are suggested for two cases: when the process is initiated by the network or by the user/application. Software download process is modeled and analyzed using GPSS World system.
