THE STATUS OF LIPIDE PEROXYDATION PROCESSES AND ANTIOXYDANT SYSTEM IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS, BORN FROM THE FATHERS–LIQUIDATORS OF CHERNOBYL NUCLEAR ACCIDENT CONSEQUENCES
Abstract
The status of lipide peroxidation processes and antioxydant system was studied in adolescents girls, born from the fathers-liquidators of Chernobyl nuclear accident consequences. There was revealed certain inhibition of an enzymatic link of the antioxydant system in the form of a decrease in glutathion peroxydase activity at different stages of puberty, especially in the period of menstrual function formation.
