Abstract
The role of Bartonella henselae in development of one of the variants of bartonellosis – catscratch disease represented in the article. The recent conceptions on epidemiology of disease (possibility of existence of other sources of infection) and peculiarities of pathogenesis taking into account immune status of patient reviewed. Different clinical variants of infection and methods of their diagnostics, treatment and prophylaxis discussed. Different clinical variants of infection, methods of their diagnostics, necessity of etiotropic therapy conducting and questions of prophylaxis discussed.
