Operating characteristics of groundwater resources of Agarmysh area and its rational use
Abstract
The paper considers the problem of potable groundwater shortage in Eastern Crimea. Hydrogeological features, geological structure and conditions of the groundwater of Agarmysh area, appropriateness of their use in the region have been analyzed. A rational solution to the deficit of potable groundwater in the Eastern Crimea has been proposed. Three areas of the most promising in terms of groundwater quality and profitability of their production have been determined to accommodate intake of drinking groundwater. Appropriate place of their placement, chemical, bacteriological composition of waters and location within these areas have been analyzed. Hydrogeological parameters of aquifers, general operating groundwater resources of the area have been studied. Analyses of full and rational use of groundwater in Agarmysh will allow partial solution to the problem of drinking water in the region in the summer, and will completely solve the problem in the autumn and spring.
