Suggestive aspects of indirect speech acts and genres

The article analyzes the suggestive aspects of indirect speech acts and speech genres. Essential for their understanding is the opposition of planned and unplanned indirect communication, speech acts and speech genres consciously or unconsciously chosen by the speaker. Some national characteristics of suggestion of indirect speech means in different cultures have been discussed, in particular, the opposition personality ~ impersonality in Russian culture.
