The role of scientific research in the development of the nitrogen industry of Ukraine

Abstract

A widespread use of nitrogen compounds is shown in various fields of industrial production. It is shown that modern nitric industry is one of the leading sectors of Ukrainian chemical industry. The basis for the creation of nitric industry in Ukraine was development of nitric acid processing with ammonia contact oxidation by I. Andreev. Further formation and development of nitric industry occurred with the active scientific work of I. Adadurov and V. Atroschenko
