At the general theoretical level, linear, nonlinear, and syncretic theories of social development have been analyzed, as well as the possibilities of using them for analyzing the development of leisure figurations. At the social scientific level, the concepts of the practical paradigm of sociologists such as A. Schütz, P. Berger, T. Lukman, G. Garfinkel, I. Hofmann, E. Giddens, P. Bourdieu, N. Elias are examined. The conclusion is made about the expediency of using the figurative sociology of N. Elias in studying creative recreational practices as a factor in the formation of social subjectness. At the empirical level, it is proposed to explore creative leisure as a factor of the formation of social subjectness of rural teenage youth.
