Published by the Educational and Scientific Institute "Institute of Public Administration" of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Since 2005, the collection "Theory and Practice of Public Administration" has been included in the list of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine, in which the results of dissertations for obtaining scientific degrees can be published. The collection is a professional edition of Ukraine of category "B" in the field of knowledge 28 - "Public management and administration" in the specialty 281 "Public management and administration" (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 09.08.22 No. 724, Certificate of state registration: KV no. 25105-15045PR from January 21, 2022).

International digital identifier - doi: 10.26565/tpdu - assigned to all articles starting in 2019.

The purpose of the publication is to promote the development of scientific knowledge in the specialty 281 "Public management and administration", providing a platform for the exchange of research results, analysis of theoretical concepts and practical recommendations aimed at improving the efficiency of public administration and local self-government.

The publication is registered with the ISSN International Center (Paris, France) – ISSN 1727-6667.

The scientific publication papers, grouped together under five headings, are devoted to the problem issues of public administration system development, state regulation of economic and social development processes, directions of reforming the local self-government system in Ukraine, foreign policy and national security issues.

The issues of the collection of scientific works “Theory and Practice of Public Administration” are available on the web-site of V. I. Vernadsky National Library of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine  and the webpage of Educational and Scientific Institute «Institute of Public Administration». The publication is indexed in Google Scholar . Since 2017, the scientific publication has been indexed in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International
