The Political-Ideological Identification as a Scientific Concept and Social Phenomenon

Abstract

The article analyzed the phenomenon of the political-ideological identity. The definition of the relevant concepts that exist in modern SHS especially at sociological knowledge is given. The author emphasizes that actualization of political-ideological identification caused by the development of a multiparty system, political pluralism and simultaneously ideological crisis of party building, marketization of political (inter)action and other factors. Under these conditions, the question about the identity nature of politicalideological constructs of personality is raised. Special research interest focuses on modern identity practices varieties and transformation of the political process especially at its` «marketomorfism», «economization», Weber`s rationalization, etc. It is underlined that political and ideological identification can be conceptualized as process aspect of the political-ideological identity.
