Abstract

The theories of gender socialization in sports are considered in the article. On the basis of the analysis of sociological researches data the author focuses attention on features of the relation to playing sports by boys and girls. It is noticed that specificity of motives of playing sports depends both on a skill of sportsmen level and from their gender, especially at an early stage of gender socialization.
