Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of the rating and political casus of "Svoboda" party during the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2012. The focus of author’s attention is concentrated on a significant difference between the data of preliminary electoral measurements and the last official elections’ results. The hypothesis that in this special political activity, in particular the ideological side of the given political force, one should seek for an answer to the electoral success of the "Svoboda" party during the recent parliamentary elections is shown. Based on the event-analysis which was conducted in the article, the nature of this electoral-political case is explained by the author. The complex effect of coincidence of several factors – the institutional, social, political – that led to an increase of electoral support of the "Svoboda“party is examined. The necessity for a deeper and more permanent study of electoral dynamics in the Ukrainian society, in particular the influence of such electoral effects as "spiral of silence", "the last minute shif " and "unconscious party loyalty" is proved.
