Abstract

Laws and regularities of the regional competitiveness are defined. The basic patterns of competitiveness: globalization and regionalization, regional differentiation and convergence of levels of socio-economic development, competitive localization of production, deepening of specialization and diversification are described. Their impact on the competitive advantage is determined.
