Abstract

The article presents some results of the socio-geographical research of tourism and recreational resources of Kherson region. The interpretation of the concept and classification of tourist and recreational resources based on the socio-geographical approach are given. The key characteristics of natural geographic and socio-geographical tourist and recreational resources of Kherson region are defined. The features of distribution and use of tourism and recreational resources of the region are determined through a series of mathematical and statistical methods.
