Abstract

The features of territorial differentiation of the rural settlement pattern of Kostopil district of Rivne region are investigated on the analysis of basis planning forms of rural settlements. 8 basic types of planning forms are distinguished: bilateral one-row, multi-row, ramified, star-shaped, swarm-shaped, disorderly group, street building, semiquarter.  The most popular planning form is simple bilateral one-row. It specifies on the uncompleteness of forming of the system of settlement pattern of Kostopil district and considerable potential possibilities of its further development.
