Abstract

The article analyzes the system of settlement of Kharkiv region with the system approach, revealed its properties and directions of development. The factors of formation and development of the settlement network of Kharkiv. Allocated the features of the system of settlement of the Kharkiv region and determined the rank of organizational core settlement system for the population, according to the original terms of the theory of integral settlement systems. Identified problems and prospects of development of the settlement of t Kharkiv region and suggested measures to address them.
