Scientific and innovative aspects of Kharkiv city development

Abstract

The article revealed the features of scientific and innovative development of Kharkiv city. In this paper presents a characteristic of the Kharkiv city as a powerful scientific and educational center of Kharkiv region and Ukraine as a whole. The list of indicators that demonstrate the scientific and innovative aspects of the city development is grounded. It was established that the scientific and innovative development of the city is characterized by significant regional differences. The leading positions holds Kyiv district. Specified the need for further research of the scientific and innovation aspects not only the city of  Kharkiv but Kharkiv and its agglomeration.
