COLOUR IN LUDWIG WITTGENSTEIN’S ANTIPHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The article raises the problem of colour-eliminating theme inside philosophical discourse in the context of growing interest to colour in the XX century in the field of culture and politics. The possibility of inclusion this topic inside the philosophical discourse is viewed through the conceptual distinction of three figures – the philosopher, the sophist and the antiphilosopher, which was proposed by Alain Badiou in seminars and work after 1992. Particular attention is given to the antiphilosopher. Based on the provisions of the difference between Badiou’s antiphilosophy and sophistry, article holds a brief overview of the Ludwig Wittgenstein’s work «Remarks on Colour», and shows its antiphilosophical content.
