About genre specialities of story in verse by A.S.Grin «LEE»

Abstract

       The object of this article is a work by A.S.Grin having  a synthetic genre nature. The author of this article elicits the reasons why the writer saw epic features proper to a story in a work lyrical by its form (moreover, he even qualified it as a poem sometimes); the article goes deeply into the ways of expression and functions of the epic and lyrical principles in «Lee». The attention is mainly given to the category «lyrical event», a role of a reiterative in «LEE», as well a meaning and role of a rite in formation of the genre specificity of this work.
