One of the main problems of syntax is a comprehensive study of the proposal, its grammatical organization in connection with the expression of a certain content. The sentence is the main language communicative unit and represents a complex system of interrelated units that form its structure. Simple sentences, of course, do not cover the richness of all syntactic forms. However, they are necessary elements of the organization of the language. A notable place for such syntactic constructions is in the system expressed by the sentence of beliefs. Researchers of the Ukrainian language paid much attention to the study of the syntax of the literary language and the description of written sources. However, scientists must investigate syntactic organization of folk speech, folklore-ceremonial texts and those syntactic structures that reflect traditional world view presentations of the Ukrainian people. In the article we considered the syntactic organization of beliefs, which have the form of a simple sentence. We found out that in the analyzed linguistic material more often monosyllabic syntactic constructions are used, which mostly refer to impersonal sentences. The main part in such syntactic constructions is expressed by impersonal predicative constructions, which are combined with an infinitive and have expressive forbidden or imperative-permissive semantics.
