The author considers it is one of the main ways of the learning of the educational material. In this article self-dependent work of students is presented as a way of perception of the educational material and its further fixation with educator’s manual but without his directly involvement. Self-dependent work of student promotes the development of self-dependence, activity, initiative and creative thought.The views of scientists on the essence, classification and organization principles of self-dependent work of student were analyzed.It was proved, that introduction of innovative methods of educating motivate students to self-dependent creative activity. Innovative approaches include : game method, problem-searching methods (case-method, crating an intellectual map, etc.),project educational method, the method of using new information and communication technologies in studing (electronic textbooks, computer programs, computer presentations, Web-quests, etc.).Increasing the quality of higher education in today’s conditions requires using of different program products including computer testing. Their introduction is possible at the self-control of student’s knowledge at the stage of educational process. ER -
