The article defines the competitive advantages of international business and explores its kinds, notes that the most effective kind is transnational company. Home and foreign researches  show that multinational companies face a number of problems related to the influence of socio-cultural factors that reflected in personal and intragroup staff interaction. The article notes that there are some differences in the value orientations between the average European indices and the average Ukrainian ones. The author proves that to form the optimal strategy to manage of personnel affiliates of TNCs the paradigm of value orientations of work can be used; it is based on six measurement parameters of national cultures scientist Gerd Hofstede and divergence strategy for human resources management.
