The Professional Training of Bulgarians at the Universities of the Russian Empire (1878–1915)

Abstract

The article explores the main features of the professional training of Bulgarians at the universities of the Russian Empire after the completion of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877–1878.It is proved the reasons of theprofessional training of Bulgarians in higher educational institutions of the empire are justified and the documentary base on which the process of the training of the foreign students was regulated was analyzed.The article reveals the financial aspect of helping Bulgarian students, as well as their professional activities at home.
