Culturology in Post-Soviet Educational Discourse

Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of institutionalization of cultural studies in the system of higher education in Ukraine. The theoretical-methodological ambivalence of cultural knowledge is determined. The co-revolution of the representation of the science of culture in the Russian and Ukrainian educational discourse of recent decades has been revealed. The functional specificity of cultural studies as a post-Soviet ideological project is revealed.
