Abstract

Information (post-industrial) society is based on knowledge. In the context of the industrial society paradigm, it was believed that knowledge is associated with utility. It encouraged the appearance of an approach to understanding of knowledge as a consumer service, which is still a priority in the educational spheres, when it is considered that the university should be subordinated only to the labor market. In the context of the post-industrial society paradigm, knowledge is intended to promote the development of critical thinking, to develop communication and interaction skills, creative approach.
