Abstract

). The article reveals the influence of agricultural societies on the transformation in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian provinces of the Russian Empire. The importance of European ideas in shaping the basic foundations of agricultural education, experienced institutions is characterized. The educational activity of public organizations and their role in the cultural process was studied.
