Dielectric properties of aqueous salt solutions of non and γ-irradiated at dose 800 Gy complexes of DNA-ActII (P/D=5) also were investigated. The value of gydration h (a number of water molecules per one molecule of ligand or DNA nucleotide) was calculated for all investigated substances. It was found that h=22 for ActII, h>30 for the complex DNA-ActII. γ-irradiation of the complex leads to the decrease of h by 18%. The degree of DNA fragmentation was determined by a method of electrophoresis. It was found that the irradiated complex DNA-ActII is more mobile and more fragmented than the non irradiated one.

</h1>}, number={12}, journal={Biophysical Bulletin}, author={Khorunzhaya, O.
