Abstract

The article discusses the problematic historiographical issues of theinvestigated financial situation of the Russian Empire communication officers in the late nineteenth - early twentieth century. Clarified the reasons of the false beliefs formation regarding the material ensuring of the Post and Telegraph Department officials.
