Abstract

The article is devoted to consideration of the problem of formation and representation of Julius Caesar’s image in the poetic heritage of Valery Bryusov. The author concluded that for the construction of this image the views on the Caesar’s identity in the mid 19th – early 20th centuries are more important, than ancient authors’ data.
