DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONCEPTUAL AND CATEGORICAL APPARATUS FOR PUBLIC SPACE IN THE PROCESSES OF STATE FORMATION

The article actualizarea conceptual-categorical apparatus, which describes the definition of public space, helping to identify significant differences in the interpretation of the concept and made it possible to divide the approaches into two main groups: objective and subject components.
It makes we look more closely at issues of urban planning as problems that includes changes in the physical and social landscape, to consider the city as a place redistribution of wealth and resources, as well as investing in changes transformerait the image of the city.
Development of scientific views on the definition of the essence of public space helped to identify significant differences in the interpretation of the concept that made it possible to divide the approaches into two main groups: objective and subject components.
The first group is represented by the approaches of scholars who focused on the construction of simple one-component set of components of the transformation of public space. Representatives of this group within the public space allocate its main (well-known) elements – the physical dimension.
Members of the second group propose to change the standard components, combining them with a meaningful and economic characteristics, as well as highlighting the unique elements.
In Particular, D. Harvey and A. Lefebvre distinguishes a component as: the circulation of capital, of power.
Such diverse approaches to the definition of the Central concept in the creation of the state of public space lead to misunderstanding in practice and confusion in the logical-conceptual organization of knowledge in this area. Therefore, with the aim of eliminating contradictions in the interpretation of the content and unifying approach to the definition of using scientific methods such as comparison, synthesis, analysis, we defined the mind map of the concept of “public space”.
