About the Bulletin

The bulletin is a periodical specialized edition categorized as "B" in the field of Economic Sciences: 

051 "Economy", 072 "Finance, Banking and Insurance" and 073 "Management"

(Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 409, 3/17/2020).

Certificate of state registration is KV #22516-12416PR, 12/26/2016.

Each scientific article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

Bulletin of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Economic Series was founded in 1966.

Goal and mission of the bulletin

The periodical aims to become a scientific platform for current research and discussions aimed at fixing fundamental and applied problems in economics, management and administration.

The periodical allows its authors to present their original research on theoretical and applied economics, finance and taxation, international economics and the world economy, management, mathematical and computer modelling of socio-economic processes and statistical analysis of economic information.

The periodical accepts and provides a qualified review of theoretical, methodological and empirical papers that correspond to the thematic areas of the periodical.

Publication language

Ukrainian, English, Russian.

Target audience

Scientists, lecturers, employees of business structures and public authorities, postgraduate students and students of economic and other specialties.

Periodicity of the publication

The planned periodicity of the publication is two times a year.

Reviewing process (double-blind method)

Bulletin ethical principles are based on the COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for magazine editors. 
All the articles, received by the editorial office, are submitted to the reviewing procedure. According to the editorial policy of the Bulletin of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University,  Economic series, the reviewing procedure is anonymous for both a reviewer and the authors (double-blind method). The reviewing procedure is carried out in two steps. The main principle of the reviewing procedure is to adhere to academic integrity and to harmonize the interests of the authors, readers and editorial board. During the reviewing process reviewers evaluate the scientific level of the article, the importance of the results, obtained by the authors, and their validity. 

Check for plagiarism

All the submitted articles are checked for plagiarism in Unicheck plagiarism checker. According to the check results only the articles, in which the borrowed text doesn’t exceed 20% of the main text are accepted for publication, except for reviews, informational and anniversary publications.

Open Access Policy

The Bulletin practices a policy of immediate open access to published content, supporting the principles of the free dissemination of scientific information (Open Access) and the global exchange of knowledge for the sake of universal social progress.

Archiving

Open Journal Systems supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for journal content. The LOCKSS Program is an open-source, based at Stanford University Libraries. It provides libraries and publishers open source digital preservation tools to preserve and provide access to persistent and authoritative digital content.
